The newly designed camp, which opens April 21st 2010, includes twelve luxury bush pavilions, a main lodge with a bar, swimming pool, spa, dining area and viewing deck overlooking the expansive flood plains of the Okavango Delta.

Sanctuary Chief’s Camp offer an exclusive and lavish retreat designed in harmony with their surrounding environment; guests can choose between an outdoor shower for a truly authentic experience, or a fully equipped bathroom in their suite. Generously draped mosquito nets around the four poster beds and traditional ceiling fans add to the originality of Sanctuary Chief’s Camp to ensure a lavish, yet comfortable stay. After an exciting day of safari, guests can continue their game viewing while relaxing in the dining area which surrounds a fire pit on the very edge of the Piajio plains.

Sanctuary Chief’s Camp lies on Chief’s Island in the Okavango Delta and is tucked away in the Mombo Concession, which is part of the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve.
