San Pellegrino: Partner of Expo Milano 2015 and the Italian Pavilion

Today saw the detailed presentation of the partnership and activities with which San Pellegrino will play a leading role at the global event. It will provide educational projects, entertainment and a special edition bottle, to be distributed in January 2015, with approximately 150 million units shipping to 80 countries around the world.

The historic brand San Pellegrino, part of the San Pellegrino Group and symbol of Made in Italy quality food in the world, will play a leading role at the Universal Exposition of 2015. Today, at the Restaurant LARTE in Milan, it was announced that the famous “Red Star “will be the official water partner of Milan Expo 2015 and the Italian Pavilion, managing its water-themed Piazzetta.

So far, San Pellegrino is the only company in the food sector to have a double partnership with the global event which represents a unique opportunity for Italy and for all companies in the world of “Made in Italy.”

Attending the press conference of presentation was Stefano Agostini, President and CEO of the San Pellegrino Group; Diana Bracco, President of Expo 2015 S.p.A. and Commissioner General for the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2015, and Giuseppe Sala, CEO of Expo 2015 S.p.A.

Expo Milano 2015 will have a double significance for San Pellegrino.

San Pellegrino, as the official water partner of the event, will create a special edition bottle that will be distributed from January 2015, with approximately 150 million units shipping to 80 countries to promote the event on tables all over the world. During the period of the Exposition, there will be events organized to educate, entertain and promote a healthy, sustainable and appetizing lifestyle through the promotion of talent that is Made in Italy and connected to the world of cuisine and renowned chefs.

The Italian Pavilion will be a showcase for the Italian System, an iconic place that represents the best of Italian excellence related to the theme of the Expo, “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.” In this context, the thematic Piazzetta Acqua San Pellegrino will be one area for ​​educating and entertaining younger visitors and for helping adults to become more aware of recycling, conscious and responsible use of water resources, and the importance of proper hydration.
