The St Regis Mauritius Resort has announced the appointment of Estuardo De San Nicolas as resort manager.

In his new role Estuardo De San Nicolas will oversee the management and operations of the 172-room luxury resort which is situated on the south-westerly tip of the island, Le Morne Peninsula, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Estuardo De San Nicolas was previously general manager for Marriott Islamabad and prior to that, general manager of Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, Mauritius.

He began his hotel career in 1993, as a receptionist and cashier at the Hyatt Regency group in France followed by roles in front office and food and beverage at numerous hotels around the globe, including Maldives, France, French West Indies, and Senegal.

The St. Regis Mauritius Resort is situated on one of the most privileged locations on the island on the pristine white natural beaches at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Le Morne and bordered by a turquoise lagoon.

The resort exudes a feeling of time-honoured luxury, with Le Morne Mountain providing a spectacular and fitting backdrop.
