Saint Lucia Tourist Board announces new acting MD for UK & Europe

Atlyn Forde has been appointed as the acting Director of Marketing UK & Europe, taking over from Jean-Marc Flambert, effective as of July 7th 2014.

Of Saint Lucian heritage, Forde has worked with the Saint Lucia Tourist Board as Assistant Director of Marketing, UK and Europe for three years and has a wealth of experience working in the marketing and communications industry for over 12 years. Her past roles have included Head of Communications at British Airline Pilots’ Association, Marketing Manager at British Dental Association, Marketing Manager at MRI Ltd and Production Editor at Haymarket Publishing.
Forde also brings vast tourism knowledge to the role having previously worked with the Saint Lucia Tourist Board marketing team for an additional two years in 2005.

During her time with the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, Forde has created and implemented many successful campaigns to drive bookings to the island, develop relationships with hotel partners and tour operators as well as holding several successful consumer and trade events.

Atlyn Forde comments “I am delighted to be heading up the UK and European markets for the Saint Lucia Tourist Board. I have true passion for Saint Lucia, have gained extensive experience and look forward to building on and maintaining the great successes we have already achieved.”

Director of Tourism Louis Lewis states: I have every confidence that Atlyn will oversee these markets effectively and with a level of commitment that will support the Board’s overall growth objectives.


Forde will be taking over from Jean-Marc Flambert who has led the Saint Lucia Tourist Board in the UK for nearly four years as Director of Marketing UK & Europe.

Jean-Marc Flambert comments: “I have been privileged to work with a great team and for an amazing destination. I would like to thank the trade who made my time enjoyable and who worked hard to grow room nights and revenue into the island. We have had fun and we have been innovative during difficult times. I have every confidence that Atlyn will drive the destination to new successes during this next phase.”
