Sadler&co has announced its appointment as UK public relations agency for Six Senses Resorts & Spas.

Six Senses Resorts & Spas is an ultra-exclusive resort and spa management company, internationally recognised as a brand built on unparalleled guest services and experiences, while committed to environmental responsibility.

In April 2012, the brand was bought by the US private equity fund, Pegasus creating a newly constructed management team and a consolidated brand portfolio.

Six Senses was the first to intuitively recognise an emerging traveller who enjoys many aspects of traditional luxury but also wants something that is different, unexpected and playful.

Each resort places emphasis on unique guest experiences, inspired by its spectacular location in a natural setting.

For instance, paragliding with the resident professional from the fjord-like Hajar Mountains in the Musandam Peninsula of Oman, surfing the majestic wave Yin Yang 2 degrees north of the equator in the southern Laamu atoll in the Maldives, and watching a film on a floating jetty amongst the monolithic pinnacles in Phang Nga Bay, beyond Phuket, Thailand.

Prominence is placed on gastronomy at each resort, with the bonus of fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit used in the restaurants and the spa grown at on-site organic gardens.

Wellness is promoted through each Six Senses Spa through wellness classes taken by specialist practitioners and treatments inspired by the traditions of the country where the resort or spa is located.

Six Senses’ aim is to engage its guests through educational experiences regarding culture, health and wellness and the surrounding environment.

With the new financial structure from Pegasus, and new President, Bernhard Bohenberger, Six Senses Resorts & Spas will embark on an exciting long term strategy of growth and development.

Expansion plans to launch resorts in Cheng Du in China and Saigon River in Vietnam are on course for 2013/2014.
