Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau (SCVB) launched digital visitors’ guide

The Sacramento CVB launched its first digital Sacramento Visitors’ Guide which is part of the evolution of the SCVB’s content strategy and new brand identity.

The printed version was completely overhauled to make it more “inspirational” to tell the Sacramento story through the eyes of the people living and working here. It’s one-third the size of previous visitor guides, with shorter, easily digestible stories/articles. The new format also makes it a friendlier digital guide that is easy to scan. “We are responding to the needs of our customers to give them content with a flavor of the destination, can be easily read and is available online,” comments SCVB president & CEO Steve Hammond.

The 34-page guide features Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson on the cover with the city’s skyline as a back drop. The Sacramento native shares his reflections in “This is my Sacramento.” Additionally, there are comments from singer/songwriter Jackie Greene, Mixed Martial Artist Urijah Faber and others.
