Sabre signs full content deal with Copa Airlines

Sabre Travel Network has extended a multi-year agreement with Copa Airlines to distribute its full-content to travel agencies and corporations connected to the Sabre global distribution system.

The new agreement assures Copa Airlines’ full content to more than 350,000 travel agencies using the Sabre Red Workspace software worldwide, as well as for hundreds of companies managing their travel programmes with Sabre BizSite and GetThere as online booking tools.

Agents will continue to benefit from electronic ticketing and seat capabilities at the time of booking, while business travellers will count on Copa Airline’s flights for trips in adherence with corporate policies.

Sabre will also support Copa Airlines’ merchandising strategy, providing its latest shopping technology with enhanced access for agents to the best possible availability on the airlines’ flights.

“Our agency and corporate customers will continue to be able to access Copa’s full-content and real-time availability, both essential capabilities in the transparent process to shop and book the best travel options for the traveller”.

Copa Airlines is one of the many participant airlines in the Sabre global distribution system.

Within a group of almost 400 companies including regional network carriers as LAN Airlines, Avianca Taca, AeroMéxico, Aerolíneas Argentinas – all choosing the Sabre GDS to sell their flight offering, service and products.
