Sabre Hospitality Solutions is appointing Alex Alt as Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Alt comes to Sabre from Rosewood Hotels & Resorts where he was Senior Vice President, Global Development and Strategy. He’s not new to Sabre as he previously worked as a manager and senior analyst in the financial planning and analysis group from 1996 to 2000.

Alt was also a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Alex earned a masters degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas in Austin.

Alt will join Sabre on April 23, 2012.
