Ryanair has launched a new customer Twitter account, @RyanairFlights, which provides instant real time information for every one of its 1,600 daily flights.
Twitter users who follow @RyanairFlights can simply send their Ryanair flight number by direct message and will receive an instant update on the status of the flight by Tweet.
This is the latest improvement to the Ryanair customer experience, following allocated seating, a second free cabin bag allowance, a new website and app and the dedicated Family Extra and Business Plus services.
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: “Ryanair is pleased to launch @RyanairFlights, offering Twitter users instant real-time flight information for our 1,600 daily flights. Over 100,000 people already follow our official @Ryanair Twitter account for the latest Ryanair news, special fare offers and dedicated customer service and we look forward to rolling out further digital innovations, as we continue to offer so much more than just the lowest fares.”
