Ryanair adds nine new routes from Stansted
Ryanair has announced new destinations from London Stansted airport, as well as increased frequencies on existing services.
The carrier will add nine routes for the summer 2017 season, to Naples (daily), Copenhagen (three flights per day), Beziers (three times-weekly), Cagliari (three times-weekly), Clermont (twice weekly), Grenoble (three times-weekly), Nice (daily), Nimes (four times-weekly), and Strasbourg (twice weekly).
In additions Ryanair will add extra flights to 13 existing routes to Bergerac, Biarritz, Bordeaux, Carcasonne, Dinard, La Rochelle, Lamezia, Limoges, Lourdes, Marseille, Perpignan, Porto and Toulouse.
The expansion will see the carrier offer 140 routes from Stansted, serving over 20 million passengers at the airport in 2017.
In London, Ryanair chief commercial officer, David O’Brien, said: “We are pleased to announced a new growth deal with Manchester Airports Group at London Stansted Airport, which enables Ryanair to add nine new London Stansted routes this summer, including a daily flight to Naples.
“This new deal will allow Ryanair to continue to expand our route network at Stansted, our largest European base.”
