Russian Railways announces additional Sapsan services between Moscow - St. Petersburg

To ensure that demand for passenger transport between 24 August 1 to September 2012is met, Russian Railways is laying on additional Sapsan high-speed services between Moscow - St. Petersburg - Moscow.

Train No. 163 Saint-Petersburg - Moscow from 24 to 31 August will run daily according to schedule, departing from Saint-Petersburg’s Moscow railway station at 19:25 and arriving at Leningrad Station in Moscow at 23:14 (stops: 20:10-20:11 at Chudovo and 22:08-22:10 at Tver. Total travel time is 3:49 hours).

Train No. 154 Moscow - St. Petersburg from 25 August to 1 September 2012 will also run daily on schedule, departing from Moscow at 7:00 am and arriving in St. Petersburg at 10:55 (stops: 8:00-8:02 at Tver and 9:58-9:59 Chudovo. Total travel time is 3:55).

According to the timetable, train No. 163 Saint-Petersburg - Moscow runs on Sundays, and train No. 154 Moscow - St. Petersburg on Mondays.
