Rocky Mountaineer unveils SilverLeaf service

Rocky Mountaineer has unveiled its SilverLeaf Service, another unique way to travel through Western Canada and the majestic Canadian Rockies.

Beginning this year,  guests will have the opportunity to experience a journey through the wild beauty of Canada’s West in a single level dome coach, boasting panoramic views, entertaining onboard commentary, and delicious hot meal service at their seat.

“We are constantly innovating to keep our product best-in-class while offering greater travel options for our guests,” says Randy Powell, President and CEO of Rocky Mountaineer. “The addition of SilverLeaf Service provides our guests with a brand new experience onboard Rocky Mountaineer.”

Travelling on Rocky Mountaineer’s First Passage to the West rail journey between Vancouver, British Columbia and Banff, Alberta, guests will journey through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world including the Canadian Rocky Mountains, a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site. The partially-domed SilverLeaf coach boasts panoramic views through oversized windows and allows guests to move around the coach and interact with other passengers without missing any of the scenery passing by. Delicious hot meals for breakfast and lunch along with additional Onboard Attendants make this an experience to remember.

SilverLeaf Service is available on select departure dates in 2011 on all package options, including Rocky Mountaineer two-day rail journeys. The service will operate between May and October 2011. Other restrictions may apply.
