Road safety paramount in new partnership between Partners and Highways Agency

Drivers are being encouraged to take longer breaks during long journeys this summer by the Highways Agency and after the pair teamed up to promote safer driving conditions.

The Get Out More campaign by helps people in the UK to enjoy a wide range of discounts on various attractions and landmarks in the UK. With millions of Brits staycationing this year, the roads will be busy and the companies decided to join forces to launch a combined safety effort.

The car rental giants and the Highways Agency will work alongside each other to produce a new section in the Get Out Now part of the website that aims to make the roads safer, Tips on how to avoid traffic jams as well as how to break up the journey well and what routes to take for specific journeys are all easy to obtain.

Speaking about the new partnership with Highways Agency is the Managing Director of “Planning a journey more efficiently is a great way to ensure that the journey runs smoothly and safely and this is just one piece of advice that the Highways Agency and offer our customers.
