With millions of Brits staycationing this year, the roads will be busy and the companies decided to join forces to launch a combined safety effort.

The car rental giants Carrentals.co.uk and the Highways Agency will work alongside each other to produce a new section in the Get Out Now part of the website that aims to make the roads safer, Tips on how to avoid traffic jams as well as how to break up the journey well and what routes to take for specific journeys are all easy to obtain.
