Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe Now Open
After five years in the making, the Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe finally opened its doors to the public today. (Lucky first guests/skiers at the 170-room property were treated to a fresh snowfall.)
The $300-million-dollar, mid-mountain resort—the first new-build property in the area in decades—features a luxe mountain lodge design (think wood aeries, lots of stone, fireplaces galore, and soaring windows to let the outdoors in) and a gondola full of amenities for skiers and non-skiers alike.
Some of the resort’s notable highlights include:
-Ski-in, ski-out access
-Ski concierge
