World Travel Market Latin America, the leading global event for the Latin American travel industry, has opened registration for its 2014 event.

The second edition of WTM Latin America will be bigger and better than the inaugural event, which saw more than 1,000 exhibitors from 60 countries take part.

WTM Latin America - which will take place between April 23rd and 25th at the Transamerica Expo Center, in São Paulo, at the same time as the 41st Braztoa Business Meeting -  has a number of new initiatives including;

-  The Travel Tech Zone – an increased focus on travel technology companies
-  The Innovation Zone – looking at new initiatives within the industry
-  Meet The Press – opportunity for exhibitors to tell the media their key stories
BRAZTOA’s enlarged Business Meeting region, which will be situated in the centre of the exhibition floor.
Furthermore, the comprehensive events programme will cover a range of topics central to the growth of the Latin American industry.

WTM Latin America 2014 will once again have a Hosted Buyer program – with up to 150 of the most senior buyers for the region looking to strike deals across the leisure tourism and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Congresses and Exhibitions) sectors.

“In 2013, WTM Latin America consolidated its position as Brazil’s and the continent’s main tourism event and fully fulfilled its mission of bringing the world to Latin America and promoting Latin America to the world,” declared WTM Latin America Director Lawrence Reinisch. “The 2014 edition of the event promises to be a repeat of this success and the expectation is that there will be an even greater number of visitors and exhibitors.”
