Winter is winding down, making March the perfect time for a little spring cleaning for the soul - and the skin. Refresh and rejuvenate in The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Austin with a choice of two new facial offerings.

Starting March 13, 2012, guests will be able to bathe themselves in diamonds, pearls and sapphires – literally – thanks to the introduction of the new Sapphire and Pearl Illuminating Facial. This innovative anti-ageing treatment mixes ancient eastern practices with western bio-technology to provide holistic and rejuvenating benefits to the skin, mind and body.

At the heart of this new facial are Själ’s skincare products, featuring micronized precious gemstones that help illuminate the skin, even out the complexion and promote clarity. Throughout the 50- or 80-minute treatment, Själ’s pearl enzyme exfoliant, Kashmir Saphir perfecting mask and other products visibly improve the skin’s hydration, smoothness and luminosity, while healing crystals promote balance, energy flow and clarity within.

Also debuting on The Spa’s menu in March is a NuFACE Quick Lift, a 25-minute enhancement available on its own or with any facial treatment. A hand-held device developed by experts from the aesthetic and consumer product industries, NuFACE delivers a low-level micro-current that targets the muscles under the skin that cause facial skin to wrinkle and sag. The soft, gentle waves help relax overly-tightened muscles and strengthen under-worked muscles, effectively lifting, toning and contouring the face while improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles without surgery.

The Sapphire and Pearl Illuminating Facial is an add-on to any facial, or can administered individually as its own treatment.

Not yet sold on the skin benefits provided by these new facial offerings? Locals and guests will be able to give both a whirl during the Hotel’s annual South-by-Southwest music broadcasts with KUT-FM. On both Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17 during the music broadcasts, The Spa will offer complimentary mini-facials to keep music fans looking rested and feeling refreshed.

In addition, any music broadcast guest who takes advantage of Spa services will receive a certificate for a free NuFACE microcurrent enhancement (with the purchase of a 50- or 80-minute facial) or 10 percent off a Sapphire and Pearl Illuminating Facial through April 30, 2012.
