Rankin to lead Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association in Europe

The Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association has appointed Nadine Rankin, managing director for AMG, as a regional vice president for the European market.

Rankin will be responsible for ensuring that CHTA focuses on understanding the challenges that present themselves in this competitive industry.

In response to the appointment, Richard Doumeng, president of CHTA, commented: “Nadine is a great addition to the CHTA Officer Team because she brings a great level of enthusiasm and support to CHTA interests, including the CHTA Education Foundation and Taste of the Caribbean.

“Her knowledge and experience with our European travel partners will enhance CHTA’s presence in this market and provide a European perspective on the issues that face our industry.

“Nadine will help us continue to find ways to grow business to the Caribbean region from the important European market.”

As well as reinforcing AMG’s destination and hotel representation service, Rankin has been an active participant in the CHTA Education Foundation for a number of year years and became a Trustee in 2011.

In addition, Rankin sits on the board of directors of the Caribbean Tourism Organisation UK Chapter, and is a member of the Institute of Travel & Tourism.
