Radisson Resort Orlando completes $10 million makeover

The newest accommodations at a Disney Good Neighbour Hotel now can be found at the Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration following the resort’s $10-million transformation of its guestrooms, meeting and event spaces, restaurant, lobby and public spaces.

Located a half mile from the Walt Disney Resort with complimentary, all-day shuttle transportation to the Epcot Transportation Centre (saving families $14 a day in parking), the new-look Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration is ideal for families looking for money-saving rates on new accommodations near the Magic Kingdom.

With rates starting at $79 per night, the property’s all-new guestrooms feature a modern, sophisticated design with plush, new bedding, new furnishings with ample storage, new bathrooms, new carpet and window treatments, HDTV, and a dining table with chairs where children can enjoy snacks, have fun with an activity or simply spread out their souvenirs.

Guests also enjoy free high-speed Internet access, an in-room refrigerator, in-room safe and coffee maker.

The resort’s 6,800 square feet of flexible convention, meeting and event space also has been updated with new carpeting, fixtures and wall coverings while its restaurant, lobby and public spaces have been transformed as part of the year-long enhancement.

The all-new Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration presents one of the area’s finest aquatics experiences featuring a dramatic lagoon-style pool, heated for the winter, with a sweeping, 42-foot waterslide winding around a rocky hill, cascading waterfalls, two whirlpools and a children’s wading pool.

Complimentary seasonal poolside experiences include arts and crafts and a variety of children’s games.

Families also enjoy two lighted tennis courts, a fitness centre and abundant walking paths amidst 20 lushly landscaped acres.

Besides its location minutes from the Walt Disney Resort at 2900 Parkway Boulevard just off Interstate 4, the Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration is directly across the street from the community of Celebration.

Designed by The Walt Disney Company, the town is filled with quaint shops and restaurants on brick-paved, tree-lined streets.
