Presidential Bungalows open early June at The Beverly Hills Hotel

These two new “Ultra Bungalows” will offer the ultimate in luxury accommodation, the comfort and privacy of private residences, and the service and attention to detail for which “the Pink Palace” is so widely renowned. Set to rise on the existing site of the hotel’s tennis courts, the new Bungalows are currently scheduled to receive their first guests in May/June 2011.

Led by international architecture and design firm Rottet Studio, the hotel’s new Bungalows will be designed to fit the Mediterranean character of the property, with tile roofs, intimate gardens and the famous pink stucco that gives the hotel its nickname. Each Bungalow will wrap guests in a “new Beverly Hills” blend of traditional and modern design, with warm, casual California elegance throughout. Walk-in closets, freestanding tubs, private outdoor showers and limestone fireplaces assure a welcoming and comfortable stay, while stylish custom-designed furniture will leave no doubt of the address.

Each new Bungalow will flow freely through the indoor and outdoor environments, including three bedrooms, a Great Room/dining room with full kitchen and a study. Individually keyed bedrooms assure maximum flexibility, with access via a private courtyard. There will be hardwood floors and luxurious rugs throughout, with hand-troweled plaster and vaulted ceilings to frame the scene.

Expansive glass walls, over-sized sliding glass doors and French doors will lead to each Bungalow’s private pool and outdoor courtyard, dining and living areas, letting in glorious California sunshine both open and closed.

High technology will also be on full display with Bang & Olufsen flat screen monitor with BluRay/DVD player in virtually every room, and MP3 player docks with built-in speakers (including underwater speakers in the pool) in all rooms and outdoor spaces. Lights, drapes, fireplaces and all media options will be accessed through a single, easy-to-use remote control and the nearest television. Both wireless and wired data access will be available throughout.

The new Bungalows will also provide the ultimate in privacy and discretion with full inward-facing courtyards, lush landscaping, and closed circuit cameras at every entrance.
