Refuge is America’s first Relaxation Spa nestled between the Santa Lucia Mountains and the winding roads of Carmel Valley.  Refuge features a unique “Refuge Thermal Cycle” consisting of three simple steps.  Heating-up in a Sauna or Eucalyptus Steam bath, cooling down in “cool” and “cold” pools followed by a defined quiet time in the indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, these are the key steps to the Refuge experience. In addition, Refuge offers six “hot” and “warm” mineral pools, flanked by cascading waterfalls to be explored in between the repetition of the “Refuge thermal cycle”.
