Porter Airlines awarded 16 additional Toronto City Airport slots

Porter Airlines has been awarded 16 additional slots at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.  A slot is defined as a single take-off or landing.

The additional 16 slots give Porter a total of 172 at Toronto City Airport.  Porter currently operates 156 slots.

“We look forward to providing service to new destinations for our passengers,” said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines.  “We will make specific route announcements as plans are finalized for 2012.”

The slot allocation process is based on defined criteria set out by the Toronto Port Authority’s internationally-accredited, independent slot coordinator.
