Planhotel Hospitality Group and Jeunes Restaurateures d Èurope have joined forces to celebrate their third edition of this successful culinary extravaganza.
This exiting enterprise, now in its third year continues to triumph and thrive.
Forty nine star chefs, not just from Italy but from across the whole of Europe, will once again bring their culinary expertise to the enchanting island resorts of Diamonds Athuruga and Diamonds Thudufushi in the Maldives and for the first time to Diamonds Star of the East on the exotic island of Zanzibar.
New thrilling experiences will be introduced in the third edition of “Dining with the Stars”, as Diamonds Resorts host the talented JRE chefs to create this exclusive culinary event.
After enjoying the success of 2015 and 2016, the Planhotel group proudly renewed and extended its partnership with the association of these young men and women who all share the same passion for their profession and a philosophy that is based on tradition, the use of local produce and a combination of creativity and skill to make their mouth-watering accomplishments.
The JRE chefs will be coming from many different countries across Europe to broaden and create sumptuous experiences and delightful dishes to enchant the palates of the most discerning foodie travellers.
This year Diamonds Athuruga and Diamonds Thudufushi are joined by Diamonds Star of the East, one of the most exclusive resorts on the magical island of Zanzibar.
As explained by Ernesto Iaccarino, president of Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe: “The initiative has been welcomed enthusiastically by the whole association.
“It’s a great opportunity for our chefs to perform in the wonderful Diamonds Resorts destinations of the Maldives and Zanzibar and to create a unique event in the world.”
Each chef will also perform a show cooking session organized in the welcoming atmosphere of the Buffet Restaurants of Thudufushi and Athuruga and in the Pavilion Restaurant of Gemma dell’Est to be able to demonstrate their skills and techniques with all hotels guests.
The ultimate culinary experience will be an exclusive six-course gourmet gala dinner, served in the splendid settings of the Over Water Restaurants of Athuruga and Thudufushi and the refined Ocean Blue Restaurant of Star of the East.
For those who are passionate about food, there will be an opportunity to participate in a weekly cooking class run by the JRE chefs, who will share their recipes and secrets.
