Pegasus Solutions has named hospitality sales veteran Chris Wichers as chief sales officer. Wichers comes to the newly created role after serving as executive vice president of Open Hospitality, a division of Pegasus Solutions.

Wichers has more than three decades of on-property and corporate level senior leadership in hotel sales, marketing, front office and technology. In addition to time with both Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts, he has experience organizing and managing sales teams in North America, Europe-Middle East-Africa and Asia-Pacific.
During his time with Open Hospitality, Wichers established a track record of optimizing organizational effectiveness by garnering and responding to client input. By empowering teams closest to problems, he consistently finds and implements the best solutions to address client needs. This entrepreneurial approach and direct involvement in customizing client solutions has given him a solid reputation as both a lead hospitality sales executive, and a servant to client satisfaction.
