Parc 55 Hotel San Francisco Will Join the Wyndham System

Wyndham Demonstrating its resurgent strength in major center-city markets, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts today announced that the 1,011-room Parc 55 Hotel San Francisco, located near Union Square in the heart of San Francisco’s shopping, dinner and theater districts, will be branded as a Wyndham® hotel in late April.

The announcement closely follows the recent completion of a $30 million, top-to-bottom redesign of the hotel that includes upgrades to all guest rooms and suites including 37-inch plasma TVs, the Club Lounge and the Fitness Center as well as a reconfiguration of the lobby and front desk and expansion of the hotel’s award-winning meeting and event facilities to 30,000 square feet.

“Parc 55 will be an outstanding addition to the Wyndham family,” said Jeff Wagoner, president of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. “We are excited to be associated with Highgate Holdings and its high caliber of leadership. This affiliation is proof positive that Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is a powerful contender among the major upscale lodging brands for large, center-city properties in key markets like San Francisco.”

The hotel soon to be renamed Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco-Union Square, is owned and operated by Highgate Holdings, a privately held investment firm headquartered in Dallas, in partnership with affiliates of Rockpoint Group, L.L.C., a global real estate investment management firm with offices in the United States, Europe and Japan.

Highgate Holdings selected the Wyndham brand to differentiate the hotel from the competition, gain access to its global distribution networks, Wyndham Rewards® frequent traveler program and Wyndham ByRequest® guest recognition program, according to Rob Gauthier, Parc 55 managing director and vice president.
