Ozal takes up hotel manager role at Jumeirah Emirates Towers

Jumeirah Emirates Towers has appointed Zeki Ozal as the new hotel manager.

Ozal, a Turkish national, has over 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, speaks six languages and has worked in five countries.

He started his career in the Sheraton Hotel Istanbul, where he held various operational roles and gained solid experience in the rooms division.

Since then, Ozal has worked in a number of luxury properties around the world including Ciragan Palace Kempinski Istanbul, Turkey; Hotel InterContinental Astana, Kazakhstan; Jeddah Hilton Hotel, Saudi Arabia; Concorde De Luxe Resort Antalya, Turkey and The Presidential Beijing and Pangu Hotel Beijing in China.

General manager of Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Sven Wiedenhaupt, said: “I am delighted to welcome Zeki to Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

“I look forward to working with him and leading the team to even greater success.”

In his new role, Ozal will oversee the operational departments, including Food and Beverage, Rooms Division, Housekeeping and IT.
