Omega World Travel, a leading travel management company (TMC) serving multi-national corporations and government agencies, today announced an agreement to become the first TMC to globally integrate, promote and distribute Sabre Travel Studios’ TripCase(SM) smart mobile application.
The innovative solution includes full integration of Omega Travel customers’ travel plans into the TripCase platform, allowing Omega to communicate directly with travellers post-booking and in-transit. Omega’s clients will gain from real-time messaging that keeps business travellers informed, empowered and connected wherever they travel.
TripCase is a free mobile application that provides real-time trip information to travellers from the moment of the booking until their return. TripCase supports Blackberry, iPhone, iTouch and Windows Mobile devices, with Android connectivity anticipated later this quarter.
TripCase provides a host of services to business and leisure travellers, including:
* automatic import of itinerary details
* flight updates/alerts/notifications
* trip-specific messages
* flight departure and arrival status
* baggage claim location
* gate changes
* travel itinerary sharing
* car rental shuttle information
Convenient push messages alert travellers to flight status changes. The application also allows the traveller to access weather, hotel and rental car information and more.
