Oceania introduces 7-day Med & Adriatic voyages

Inspired by the strong response it to its new seven-day itineraries for 2012, Oceania Cruises the upper-premium cruise line, has created two, 7 night departures in the Mediterranean in October and November 2011. The cruises are timed to take in the autumn foliage in Tuscany and the French Riviera.

Oceania Cruises’ President Bob Binder said “Autumn is one of the best times to visit these destinations because there are no crowds and the weather is still pleasant, the countryside is stunningly beautiful and the Saturday departures work well for working guests.”

Oceania Cruises’ new “Tuscan Charms” cruise sails from Barcelona on October 29, 2011, calling into Civitavecchia (port of Rome), visiting Provence (Marseille), Monte Carlo, Portofino, Florence/Pisa/Tuscany (Livorno) and Sorrento/Capri en route. Fares start at £1,518 per guest, with an overnight onboard in Livorno to allow for visits to Pisa, Florence and Cinque Terra, based on two sharing and including all meals, soft drinks and bottled water.

“Italian Treasures,” from Rome to Venice, departing on November 5, 2011, calls at Amalfi/Positano, Taormina, Corfu, Bari and Dubrovnik. Guests enjoy an overnight aboard ship in Venice at the end of the cruise. Fares start at £823 per guest, based on two sharing and including all meals, soft drinks and bottled water.

The cruises are on board Oceania Cruises’ luxurious, 684-guest cruise ship Insignia - an intimate ship with open-seating dining in four gourmet restaurants, all with no surcharge, luxurious public rooms, sumptuous accommodations, and warm, attentive service.
