No.1 Traveller and Delta Air Lines sign partnership deal

No.1 Traveller, the stylish airport hospitality specialist, has signed a deal with Delta Air Lines which allows all Delta’s BusinessElite, Medallion members and SkyTeam Elite Plus passengers free entrance to the UK’s first independent, all-access ‘super lounge’, No.1 Gatwick, located in Gatwick Airport’s North Terminal.

Passengers who are waiting to catch a flight or are in transit can take advantage of No.1 Gatwick’s premium facilities including a travel spa*, mini-cinema, business centre with bookable private meeting rooms, two games rooms, bistro area and bar. A bistro-style menu and selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at no extra cost, whilst the floor to ceiling view of the runway provides an ideal setting to relax and unwind before departure.

In addition, customers can take advantage of free Wi-Fi, fax, scanning and printing services, as well as conference call facilities in one of the private meeting rooms.  For those looking to unwind, the travel spa offers a number of hair, nail and body treatments.

For a complete driveway to runway experience, customers can also pre-book No.1 Traveller’s chauffeur service and take advantage of a range of concierge add-on services, including personal shopping with a World Duty Free personal shopper, or foreign exchange in association with Moneycorp, commission-free and at the best rate in the airport, which can be delivered direct to the lounge.

Paul Lawes, Head of Finance & Commercial at No.1 Traveller, said:  “We are delighted to be working with Delta Air Lines as the first airline partner of the recently launched No.1 Gatwick lounge, offering their BusinessElite and Medallion customers an enhanced travelling experience. Our aim is to provide a sophisticated setting in which travellers are able to relax and unwind before departure, whilst catering for all their needs, and we hope that the range of facilities we have in our new lounge means passengers can start their journey in style.”
