New South Wales Tourism Minister to open Luxperience

The Honourable George Souris MP, the New South Wales Minister for Tourism, Major Events, Hospitality and Racing, and Minister of the Arts, will address the opening of Luxperience, B2B luxury travel trade show.

The Minister will address delegates attending the Luxperience Thought Leaders event at Sydney Town Hall on 1st September. The program, which is dedicated to the latest trends, predictions and insights in top-end travel, acts as a thought-provoking curtain raiser to three days of buyer-seller travel trade appointments.

“We are privileged to have Minister Souris join us,” said Helen Logas, CEO of Luxperience. “The Minister recognises the importance of experiential travel, innovation in tourism and iconic events,” she said.

Other speakers at the Thought Leaders session include David McGonigal, author, Antarctic explorer, Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society; Lin Xu, Founder of China Luxury Travel Network; David Thomas, CEO of Think Global Consulting; Melinda O’Rourke, Managing Director of MO Luxury; and Sandra Leach, Managing Director of the Sandra Leach Company in the UK.

During the business exchange element of Luxperience, which follows on September 2-4, over 400 travel industry specialists will participate in up to 26,000 business meetings during the premier bespoke travel event in the Southern Hemisphere.
