American Express Global Business Travel has announced the appointment of Johan Persson as director of account management, United Kingdom.
In this role, Persson will be responsible for leading American Express’ UK account management teams and customer strategy, as well as serving as a key member of the UK management team.
Persson will report to Jason Geall, vice president and general manager, United Kingdom.
He joins GBT from Radius Global Travel, where he was head of global account management.
Prior to this, he was vice president, account management at Portman Travel.

Persson will commence his new role in January and will be based in London.
