Kerzner International Holdings has announced that Brett Armitage, senior vice president, international sales and marketing will assume responsibility for the expanded territories of Europe, Middle East, Africa, CIS and The Americas.
The move comes as Jean Joseph is promoted to vice president sales and marketing, UK & Ireland.
In his expanded role, Armitage is responsible for the strategic direction, deployment and productivity in these markets as well as developing joint sales and marketing initiatives for the Kerzner properties.
With extensive experience in international hospitality, Armitage joined Kerzner International in 2007 as senior vice president, sales of Atlantis, The Palm where he established the sales platform and sales structure for the destination resort, resulting in remarkable success for the iconic landmark.
Prior to this, he worked for a number of leading companies including InterContinental Hotels Group and the Jumeirah Group in various senior sales roles.
Joseph, in her new role, will be responsible for all sales and field marketing activity in this key market for Kerzner, as well as the overall management of the UK Sales Office based in London.
