New sales leadership for Four Seasons Hotels

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts has appointed Kristien Deleersnijder to the role of vice president, sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Based in London, Deleersnijder will be responsible for driving the company’s sales strategy in the region, overseeing worldwide sales offices in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Moscow, and Dubai.

Deleersnijder, who joined Four Seasons 26 years ago, is currently senior director of marketing UK Collection, overseeing the shared services team across the brand’s three - soon to be four - UK hotels.

These include Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, Four Seasons Hotel London at Canary Wharf, Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire, and Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, anticipated to open late 2016.

Leading a team of 35, Deleersnijder is in charge of all sales and marketing, catering sales, revenue management, and reservations.

Appointed director of marketing for Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane in 2007, Deleersnijder oversaw the iconic hotel’s re-opening in 2011, following an extensive four year renovation.

Joining the team as director of sales in 1989, Deleersnijder played an integral part in establishing brand awareness in the UK and Europe, the first Four Seasons property outside of North America.

Deleersnijder will report directly to Four Seasons senior vice president global sales, Jonathan Sicroff.

He explained: “With a strong track record in delivering results, this appointment recognises Kristien’s extensive experience across all channels and segments in this culturally diverse region.

“Her ability to build and nurture relationships with our partners, hotels and sales teams combined with her impressive language skills will continue to strengthen our presence in the region.”
