bmi regional has appointed Fabrice Binet as sales and business development director across the entire business following his success in growing bmi regional’s presence in multiple European Markets.
Hailing from France, Binet, 34, joined bmi regional in February 2014 and was promoted in 2016 to a sales role designed to drive business on routes in and out of France, Italy and Czech Republic along with being responsible for key corporate accounts.
Following a successful year for the airline, which saw bmi regional significantly grow its entire route network from more than 300 to over 350 weekly flights in 35 destinations, the focus is now to continue this growth into 2017 and beyond.
bmi regional chief commercial officer Jochen Schnadt said: “Fabrice has been a consistent and competent member of the commercial team working on various sales and business development campaigns at bmi regional and we’re delighted that he will continue to contribute to the company’s on-going development.
“With his previous experience at the airline and his product knowledge, we are delighted to have found a superb in-house candidate to take on this role and develop new business opportunities and relationships for bmi across the UK and the whole of Europe.”
With responsibility for all sales across bmi regional’s network, Binet will be managing a team engaging with existing and potential customers in the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, Italy and the Nordics.
