New president for Rosewood Hotels

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has confirmed Radha Arora has been appointed as the new president of the organisation.

Current president, John Scott, will step down after leading the ultra-luxury hotel management company for eight years, during which time Rosewood doubled the number of properties under management.

Based in Dallas, Texas, Arora will assume his new post September 5th 2011.

Arora has more than 30 years of luxury hospitality experience and will be responsible for ensuring continuity in Rosewood’s exceptional service delivery and product offerings at the company’s 20 internationally acclaimed hotels and resorts.

Additionally, he will lead Rosewood’s experienced team of hospitality professionals as the company expands globally with a five-year growth plan of doubling the number of properties under management or in development.

Arora joins Rosewood from Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts where he was regional vice president and general manager of Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel and was responsible for Four Seasons properties in Bora Bora, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Seattle and Las Vegas.

In his 16-year career with Four Seasons, he held management positions at Four Seasons hotels in Philadelphia, Toronto, Hawaii, and Goa, India.

“Leading Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” said Arora.

“I have tremendous respect for the company’s rich heritage and will protect and maintain its unique culture and high standards and while expanding Rosewood’s worldwide audience.”
