Property owners at Praia D’El Rey will welcome the recent appointment of Ricardo Nobre to the newly created role of Resort Operations Manager.  Ricardo’s job is to run the resident services operation and build strong bridges with all the owners in the resort.

“My aim is to find solutions for any ongoing problems and reopen doors that may have been closed until now”, says Ricardo, 31, whose previous role before joining Praia D’El Rey was as the Operations Manager of three well known Algarvean hotels.  “Praia D’El Rey is a beautiful resort and I am determined to build up the relationship between the resort and the current owners and also with our future clients and owners”.

Ricardo, who is married to Mariline, was born near Praia D’El Rey at Cadaval, so also regards this new job as a homecoming for himself and his family.

After graduating in hotel management, Ricardo spent a year in the US perfecting his English and also speaks French and some Spanish and German. After seven years working in the Algarve, he then spent two years working in Maputo, Mozambique, as the deputy general manager of the five star Hotel Avenida, before returning to Portugal in early 2010.
