Opera specialist, JMB Travel, was recently part of an acquisition made by Jonathan Blizard and his long-term business partner David Kiernan. The company was bought back from the Travelzest Group on 21st March 2012.

JMB Travel was previously sold by Jonathan Blizard to Travelzest in 2007 and on the re-acquisition he said: “I am delighted to purchase back a company which remains close to my heart. I look forward again to offering my clients the personal service they received for many years. I am also delighted to announce as part of my return that I will be leading some escorted tours - including the Wexford Opera Festival Tour, which has always been important to me since I founded the company 26 years ago.  I will also be leading a Summer Music Festival tour to The Puccini Opera Festival and, later in the year, to celebrate Vienna at its best, I will lead an escorted tour to incorporate the famous Vienna Christmas Markets and the State Opera House.”

JMB Travel is launching a Summer Festival brochure shortly followed by the 2012/13 Opera Season brochure in June. Plans are also in the making for informative marketing activities and a new website with an on-line reservation facility.
