Logitravel, an online travel agency specialising in holidays, hotels and flights has just launched its first IOS APP. Downloadable for free from the Apple store, the App allows users to book travel services on the go as well as manage bookings from its user area.

Tomeu Bennasar, Director of Logitravel explains “We want this App to make it easier for travellers to be able to access our complete portfolio of product as well as consult their bookings and offer information in an all-in-one feature” he also adds “we hope more IPhone and IPad users enter Logitravel via the App due its ease of use and convenience”.

The App gives access to a wide range of travel products and reviews, accessible anytime, anywhere and what’s more, offers a very simple booking process, confirming a booking in three simple steps. The travel agency is currently developing more product lines for the App and will be added in the near future.

Logitravel’ App has been launched simultaneously in all markets in which it operates including UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, Finland and Brazil. The state of the art App also allows users to select their language and country proving a more personalised service and enhancing the overall user experience.

The App booking process mirrors the desktop version, the only difference being the clear design and layout that has been adapted for mobile devises and dimensions. Once a user has decided on a particular hotel, flight or rental car they simple need to enter their personal details and selected a payment method. The App offers the same payment methods available on the website, including credit/debit card, PayPal and Online transfer.

As with the desktop version, the App allows users to access the login area using their username and password or by logging in via the Facebook option. Once logged in users have access to confirmation e-mails, saved searches, previous booking, etc.

Users will easily be able to connect to Logitravel once they arrive at their destination and this opens a whole new world of possibilities and allows us to get closer to our customers.
