The Residence by Cenizaro has announced the appointment of Lisa Balsom as director of marketing – Europe & Middle East.

Balsom joins The Residence by Cenizaro from LUX* Resorts & Hotels where she was head of sales and marketing.

Bringing more than 25 years of expertise in the airline and hotel industry – across the UK, Europe and Middle East – Balsom is well placed to drive The Residence forward.

Previous to her role at LUX* Resorts & Hotels, Balsom was responsible for creating the Luxury Hotels division for Dnata Travel, based in Dubai, following roles as director of leisure sales with Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts and a role with British Airways.

With a deep understanding of luxury hospitality and strong reputation in the industry, Balsom will lead marketing initiatives across The Residence by Cenizaro portfolio and take responsibility for developing and enhancing the performance of key properties from her base in London.

The Residence by Cenizaro portfolio currently comprises The Residence Mauritius, The Residence Maldvies, The Residence Zanzibar and The Residence Tunis.

The company is set to open The Residence Bintan, Indonesia and The Residence Dhigurah, the company’s second Maldives property, in 2017.
