New leadership for Greek Tourism Confederation

New leadership for Greek Tourism Confederation

The board of directors at the Greek Tourism Confederation has assigned Alexander Lamnidis the role of general manager, starting immediately.

Lamnidis is replacing George Drakopoulos, who has ceased involvement with the confederation after 20 years.

Lamnidis is also acting as the general manager of the newly launched Institute of the Greek Tourism Confederation.

Concerning the leadership change, SETE president Andreas Andreadis, said: “Drakopoulos’ contribution to SETE was instrumental in the last 20 years.

“We would like to thank him for his services, knowledge and faith he has shown to the confederation and wish him every success in his future plans.

“This year will be the year in which SETE will shift its direction and accelerate the implementation of innovations.

“Working collectively with INSETE and Marketing Greece, I believe that SETE will achieve all of its goals.”
