Orascom Development (OD) has launched a new microsite for the hotels in its flagship town, El Gouna.

The vibrant site is simple to navigate and allows visitors to research all 14 hotels in the Egyptian resort before booking them.

It offers enriched hotel descriptions and photos, 360 degree images for selected establishments and a new interactive map that gives satellite views of each location.

What’s more, it also includes a news section, all hotel promotions and a special package for travel trade partners.

“We wanted to offer all guests the chance to really explore the hotels in El Gouna so they can make an informed decision on which one to book,” said Mayar Abdel Aziz, VP Marketing for Orascom Development.

“The microsite will run alongside the existing El Gouna website and will allow guests to search hotels by both availability and star rating and also book them online.  It is also a great tool for travel agents.”

The microsite can be visited directly at http://hotels.elgouna.com or accessed through the drop down hotel menu on the main El Gouna website – www.elgouna.com.

El Gouna is a fully fledged, self contained town built by Orascom Development (OD).

It is located on Egypt’s Red Sea coast, attracts worldwide visitors and houses more than 15,000 permanent residents.

El Gouna is also due to open a new luxury resort called Ancient Sands in December 2011, which will boast accommodation, the town’s second 18-hole championship golf course, a spa and a range of restaurants and bars.
