“Hampton combines quality, innovation, comfort and plenty of value-added extras, making it the brand of choice in the marketplace today,” said Jen Poe, general manager of the Hampton Inn Oxford/Miami-University Area. “Quality accommodations and amenities combined with proactive, friendly service from our team members - all backed by the 100% Hampton® Guarantee - will make us highly competitive in the Oxford area.”

The hotel is owned and operated by Stewart Hotel Associates, LLC. The new Hampton Inn in Oxford opens ahead of four more Hampton hotels slated to be opened in Ohio and more than 250 Hampton properties in the pipeline in the U.S.

Located just three blocks South of Uptown’s High Street, the Hampton Inn Oxford/Miami-University Area is a perfect base from which to explore the college town of Oxford. The hotel is close to several quaint restaurants and is in walking distance to many popular event arenas, including the Goggin Ice Arena and Miami University’s Recreational Center, where several aquatic events are held. While in Oxford, travelers can opt to take a short drive up to the hiking trails of Hueston Woods State Park for outdoors enthusiasts seeking to experience the excitement of camping, boating, golf and fishing.

The Hampton Inn Oxford/Miami-University Area features amenities such as free hot breakfast, 24-hour business center, modern fitness center, covered parking and an indoor pool. All guestrooms are equipped with the Clean and Fresh Hampton bedTM, free high-speed internet access, lap desk and HDTV. All suites additionally include a microwave and mini-refrigerator.

The new property will host a grand opening celebration on December 5, 2012 and welcomes the media and community to attend.
