New flight connections for Petit St Vincent

New flight connections for Petit St Vincent

For years the Caribbean gem of Petit St Vincent has been known as being ‘worth the journey’.

Now, however, that journey has become much easier, with the launch of a new flight dedicated to guests of Petit St Vincent by Mustique Airways.

Flying from Barbados to Union Island from November 1st 2012, the service will transform the journey to the recently renovated secluded island paradise, much to guests’ delight.

From November, guests who wish the PSV booking office to arrange their “last mile” travel to PSV on the Barbados-Union-Barbados route will be booked on flights specifically scheduled by Mustique Airways for PSV guests.

Mustique Airways, which is the oldest airline operating in the Grenadines, will service the Barbados-Union-Barbados run daily as needed with twin engine aircraft (six passenger Norman Islanders and four passenger Rockwell Aero Commanders).

These planes will ensure that guests’ flight experience will be private, because only their group or other PSV guests will be travelling.

More importantly, the new flights will wait for late-arriving aircraft – avoiding missed connections and unwanted stopovers to or from Petit St Vincent!

Finally, if take-off is delayed until after Union Island airport closes at sunset, the flight can alternatively land at the lighted Canouan airport, still just a 45 minute boat ride away from Petit St Vincent.

PSV has negotiated a flat-rate charge of $600 per person for the round trip Barbados-Union-Barbados.
