LATAM Airlines Group, the leading airline group in South America, has announced the appointment of Catalina Nannig as the new European commercial director, reporting directly to the European managing director.

Chilean born, Nannig holds a degree in business management as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Prior to taking on her new role, Nannig spent four years working as long haul commercial strategy director at LATAM Airlines Group offices in both Chile and Sao Paulo.

Nannig began her professional career in the consulting department of McKinsey & Company, where she worked with a diverse range of sectors across Chile, Brazil, the USA and Spain.

Her excellent commercial awareness and team management abilities, as well as her in-depth knowledge of the group, mean she is perfectly placed to drive the company forward in Europe.

Over the last year, LATAM Airlines Group has renewed and reinforced the structure of its European board, naming Rodrigo Contreras as managing director, Gonzalo García as finance director, Ignacio Blanco as director of marketing and Almudena Corbella as human resources director.
