Avis has announced Peugeot’s latest eco-friendly cars are now available to hire across the UK – helping customers save money on fuel and reduce their carbon footprint in 2014.

Available from Avis’ Eco car Collection, Peugeot’s latest eco-friendly cars, including the 508 Hybrid4 and 3008 Hybrid4, are ideal for those looking to hire a new vehicle.

Not only do they help cut the cost of filling the tank, they also offer peace of mind to the environmentally conscious.

These eco favourites may offer top of the range Hybrid technology and a high number of miles per gallon, but that doesn’t mean they compromise on performance.

Whether you’re driving around the city or plan an escape into the country, these sleek cars have four driving options from Zero Emissions to four-wheel-drive, offering high performance.

The introduction of these cars to Avis’ UK fleet is another example of its bid to be greener.

Avis in the UK has been CarbonNeutral since 1997, offsetting almost 200,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions to date - equivalent to the emissions produced by over 18 million return trips from London to Paris on the Eurostar.
