Rocky Mountaineer launches virtual brochure

Rocky Mountaineer has launched its 2012 virtual brochure featuring two new additions to its award-winning Western Canadian rail itineraries.

In the upcoming season, Rocky Mountaineer will debut the Coastal Passage route, a scenic journey connecting Seattle, WA. to Vancouver, BC; and also offer its new SilverLeaf Service on increased departures on the company’s flagship route, First Passage to the West. All 2012 packages are now available on the website, making it even easier to plan and book a Rocky Mountaineer holiday.

“We’re excited to present a dynamic and interactive brochure that appeals to our guests on multiple levels,” says Hubert Wat, Vice President, Global Marketing of Rocky Mountaineer. “Not only does it highlight everything our guests will experience while travelling with us, but showcases our new services, a beautiful new route along the west coast, and vacation packages that give our guests even more options to choose from when travelling with Rocky Mountaineer.”

The new Coastal Passage route will connect major cities Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC en route to the Canadian Rockies. The new route marks Rocky Mountaineer’s fifth rail journey and its first from the U.S. Guests will traverse the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest from the comfort of Rocky Mountaineer’s luxurious GoldLeaf Service, a bi-level dome coach that offers panoramic views and a private dining car. After an overnight stay in Vancouver, BC guests will continue on to their final destination of either Banff or Jasper, AB.

In 2012, SilverLeaf Service will be available on all First Passage to the West itineraries between Vancouver, BC and Banff/Calgary, AB. Guests will have the option to upgrade from RedLeaf Service and experience a journey through Canada’s West in a single-level dome coach that offers a 167 per cent larger viewing area than RedLeaf Service. Combined with entertaining onboard commentary and hot meal service at their seats, SilverLeaf offers guests affordable luxury.
