Laura Molano has been appointed as the chief marketing officer for Grupo Iberostar.
In her new post, Molano will be the group’s head of marketing at a global level, leading the group’s marketing strategy at all the business units, both via distribution channels and those addressing customers.
She will also be in charge of coordinating and supervising the marketing plans and budgets for the Group, which has around 100 hotels.
One of her many goals is to continue to position Grupo Iberostar and its various divisions as a benchmark within the tourist industry, while also highlighting and boosting the brands values.
To achieve this, Laura Molano will manage the entire marketing structure of Grupo Iberostar which operates in the major source markets and in destinations including; the Caribbean, USA, Europe, Canada, Northern Africa and South America.
With a degree in communications and a master’s degree in Business and institutional communications, both from the University of Barcelona, Molano also took a master’s degree in marketing management from the School of Senior Management and Administration of Barcelona among other achievements.
Molano said: “I am looking forward to facing new challenges and opportunities and to continue developing a global strategy for the brand which allows the company to reach a wider audience while also showcasing our unique, solid and consolidated value offering that will help us to set the benchmark in the international tourist industry.”
