LATAM Airlines Group has appointed Rodrigo Contreras Brain as the new European managing director across both LAN Airlines and TAM Airlines.

Rodrigo Contreras Brain is a commercial engineer who began his career with the company in 2000 when he joined as commercial manager for LAN in Argentina.

In October 2002, he assumed the position of assistant manager for international sales, before becoming commercial manager for North America and Asia in 2003.

He was appointed general manager for Oceania and Asia in 2006 and became international commercial manager for Chile in 2011.

Since 2012 he has been occupying the position of senior commercial manager for Chile.

In recent months, the new aviation group has appointed Guillermo Orrillo as commercial manager for LATAM Airlines Group in Europe, Gonzalo Garcia as group finance director in Europe and Ignacio Blanco as group marketing director in Europe.

These new appointments consolidate the structure of the group and work to strengthen the presence of LATAM Airlines Group within Europe.
