All 33 Caribbean tourism destinations have joined forces to launch a new website.
Improvements to the design and search facilities have been made after all parties agreed to use common formatting.
The website has been created by the Caribbean Tourism Development Company, the Caribbean Tourism Organisation, and the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association.
”We expect that our revitalised website will set a new standard for promoting our Caribbean region and become the cornerstone of our cooperative regional marketing strategy for the Caribbean brand under the ‘Life Needs the Caribbean’ theme,” said Beverly Nicholson-Doty, CTO chairman, commissioner of tourism for the US Virgin Islands and CTDC co-chair.
“This is an unprecedented level of regional cooperation between governments and the private sector in tourism.”
