New appointments for Jumeirah at Emirates Towers

Jumeirah at Emirates Towers has appointed Nadia Beaulieu as the new director of sales and marketing, while Ewart Wardhaugh will take over as head chef.

Born in Scotland and part Egyptian, Beaulieu joins Jumeirah from Marriott International, where she was the director of sales and marketing at a number of properties including the London Park Lane Marriott.

In 2007, she led the sales and marketing team at the Fairmont Towers and Heliopolis hotel in Egypt.

Other roles included the Cairo Marriott and Omar Khayyam on the river Nile and the JW Marriott Cairo and Renaissance Cairo Mirage City.

Her most recent role was the launch of Marriott’s first Autograph Collection brand in the Middle East and Africa, the Habtoor Grand in Dubai.

In her new role, Beaulieu will oversee all sales and marketing activities for Jumeirah Emirates Tower.

Wardhaugh, originally from Scotland, trained in European cuisine and began his cooking career aged 14.

He spent his early years working in several prestigious kitchens and worked in leading dining destinations including Michelin Star restaurant the Georgian Room at the Cameron House Hotel and Leith’s Restaurant in London.

In addition to his solid portfolio, he’s also worked at the luxury Lanesborough hotel in London, Raffles Hotel in Singapore and the Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

In his new role, Ewart will oversee the kitchens of the award-winning Jumeirah Emirates Towers hotel.
