New appointment for Jumeirah Creekside Hotel

Jumeirah Creekside Hotel has appointed Ansgar Werneke as the new Executive Chef.

Originally from Germany, Chef Ansgar has over twenty two years’ of culinary experience and joins from Jumeirah Beach Hotel where he worked for five years. During his time there he was responsible for the culinary operations in both the restaurant and banquet divisions.

Chef Werneke has held a number of roles at Jumeirah including Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine before advancing to the position of Executive Sous Chef in 2009.

Throughout his career, Chef Werneke has worked at renowned hotels and restaurants, including Château de Gilly and Château d’Esclimont in France, Le pond de Brent in Switzerland, Marriott Hotel and Le Gavroche in England, Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai.

In his new role, Ansgar will oversee and manage the culinary aspect of the various outlets within the hotel, ensuring the consistent service of high quality dishes.

Jumeirah Creekside Hotel offers a selection of dining options including Blue Flame, an elegant steakhouse and seafood restaurant, Nomad for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the rooftop Cu-ba which offers incredible city views and a Latin inspired menu, Crimson Gallery, a tranquil setting for afternoon tea or an informal get-together and Plumeria, the healthy café.
